الرواشين خشب على حجر مرجان. الزقاق ضيق لأن الظل كان تكييفا. المرجان من الشعاب والخشب من البحر. الترميم جار ولم يكتمل.Rawashin are timber on coral stone. Alleys are narrow because shade was the cooling. Coral came off the reef and wood came by sea. Restoration is underway and unfinished.
الكورنيشThe Corniche
بعد الغروب يمشي الناس على الماء. الرياض جافة. جدة رطبة. الفرق يُحس. العائلات تأخذ الكورنيش غرفة مفتوحة.After sunset people walk on the water. Riyadh is dry. Jeddah is wet. The difference is felt. Families take the Corniche as an open room.
